Alzheimers Research & Therapy is the major forum for translational research into Alzheimers disease. An international peer-reviewed journal, it publishes open access basic research with a translational focus, as well as clinical trials, research into drug discovery and development, and epidemiologic studies. The journal also provides reviews, viewpoints, commentaries, debates and reports.
Established in 2009; publishes continuously (articles released as accepted).

Animal models and model systems, particularly emphasizing how well they translate to human studies.
Identification of causal and risk factors for Alzheimers disease.
Developing and measuring therapeutic interventions, both experimental and clinical.
Human studies that include epidemiology and human trials in Alzheimers disease and other dementias.
Methodological advances relevant to Alzheimers research (e.g., imaging techniques, biomarker discovery, translational methods).
